On April 16 and 17, 2016, the top 60 teams in US Quidditch will converge on Columbia, SC for two days of intense competition to crown the league champion. Come join the crowd, cheer, and be part of the most unique sporting events of the year. After all, there are lots of championships, but there’s only one US Quidditch Cup!

Celebrate autism Awareness Month at the Blue Bash & Dash on Saturday, April 9 from 5—8 pm at the autism Academy of South Carolina!

The BASH: A free, family-friendly community celebrate on with inflatables, food trucks, games, face painting, music, vendors, and more!

The DASH: Run/Walk/Roll as we “dash” from the autism Academy to Sprit Communications Park, home of the Columbia Fireflies. We will run into the stadium, jog around the concourse, be cheered on by the PA announcer, and get highfives from the mascot, before we head back to the AASC. Adults: $25/18 AND UNDER: $15. Everyone who registers gets a free AASC Cape!

{Things To Do} Touch A Truck, April 2
The 7th annual Touch A Truck event will transform the State Farmers Market into a world of big rigs and heavy machinery for young and old alike to see up close! Kids will have the opportunity to explore exhibits like fire trucks, law enforcement vehicles, bulldozers, agricultural machinery, and antique military vehicles, as well as meet the men and women who build, protect, and serve the Midlands. This community event also features family-friendly entertainment, public safety information, plus healthy eating activities from the Junior League of Columbia's Kids in the Kitchen. Mascots, face painting, and other amusements will round out the fun.
